What makes an Indian Pale Ale different from a Pale Ale?

indian pale ale is a term for the original pale ale because its got more hops and less yeast it doesnt skunk or go bad as quick as most beers and it was the beer the english sent to india when they colonized it because most beers went bad in the three to four month journey. a new pale ale is less hopsy and quite good
